Hi, I'm Maquala, the owner and photographer behind Forever Framed Photography.

First and foremost, I'm a wife, a proud mom to five amazing children, and a dog mom to our energetic little Frenchie, who definitely keeps life interesting! My family is my greatest inspiration, and they're the reason I understand just how quickly life's moments become treasured memories.

When I'm not behind the camera, you'll usually find me spending time with my family, searching for our next adventure. Whether it's exploring somewhere new, making memories close to home, or planning our next cruise, we love experiencing life together and making the most of every season.

Before becoming a photographer, I worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant, spending several years caring for hospice patients. I also worked as a hairstylist. Looking back, it's clear that every career I've chosen has centered around one thing—helping people. Whether it was caring for someone during one of life's most difficult seasons, helping someone feel confident in the salon, or now capturing meaningful moments through photography, my passion has always been serving others and helping them see their own value and beauty.

My photography journey began simply by taking photos of my own children. Before long, I realized I had fallen in love with preserving memories—not just for my family, but for others as well. What started as a hobby quickly became a passion and eventually grew into Forever Framed Photography.

I truly believe every person has a unique story worth telling and a beauty that deserves to be celebrated. My goal isn't just to deliver beautiful images—it's to create an experience where you feel comfortable, confident, and genuinely yourself. I want you to walk away with photographs that not only capture how you looked in that moment, but also how deeply you were loved, the joy you felt, and the memories you'll cherish for years to come.
